Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomers combine the favourable properties of rubber products with the ease of processing of thermoplastics. Their molecular structure consists of an alternating array of hard, crystalline polyester components and soft amorphous polyether components (block polymers). The hardness of the product can be adjusted by the relative share of the soft and hard phase. As a consequence no plasticizers need to be added.

Polyester TPEs have a high mechanical strength, high wear resistance and flexibility as well as high impact resistance at low temperatures. Further properties include high chemical and ageing resistance as well as high resilience.
